Analysing College Magazines

In order to understand common conventions that  I need to incorporate into my work I need to ensure that it represents the  needs of my chosen target audience. I will also analyse two chosen college magazine covers and two college contents pages. I will be following  existing conventions because as the  following theorist  said   'The making of the new and rearranging of the old' (Bently, 1997). What this quote means can be interpreted as the magazine needs to keep a clear idea of the subject of the magazine, what genre it is alongside the creative process in developing a creative product.
